I really should paint more often

Proms not over yet, just wanted to show what I accomplished today. A couple of girls conceived of an awesome mural for the prom but didn't have time to finish it. Here is the before photo when they had done as much as they had time to do.

BELOW is the after photo, ... I spent 3 hours on it.
I really should paint more often. I used to paint kids' rooms as a business before I started homeschooling. After remembering how much I loved doing this, I have to wonder if I should go back to it....
but, I don't like painting in people's houses.

And I like free-reign over what I am painting... maybe not.... murals anyway.

I will be painting more, regardless.

Homeschooling in progress

One of my daughters strange learning rituals.
(Using large flat screen TV for computer, and surrounded by a  neat circle of notes)
oh, and she's singing.

Homeschool Graduations are cool.

Today was graduation day for Artios Academies.

4 of my children's classmates graduated and all are heading to college.

It was an excellent program and ceremony (although I missed a bit)
Each of the 4 students of the Arts conservatory, performed a 15 minute set (the art student did a short film) and had an art gallery.

Then there was the reception, and awards.

Then there was the cap and gown diploma portion.

As the parent of underclassmen, I worked on setting up and breaking down the reception hall... it took much of the entire week, mentally, and in time as well.

Here is a glipse of the reception hall where hordevours were served and awards (for high school student in general) were given.

Finally got a good picture of my son

It's been ages since my son allowed us to take a picture of him. He looks so handsome.

We were at some mansion in the hills in Ventura, CA

Great Deals on School & Homeschool Curriculum

He's really a Hermitt!

He loves hermit-ting away in his dad's office... he has two computers going at the same time. He complained that he was having a bad hair day after I took the photo.... too bad.

Working, working, working...

The time was 3:14 pm and she is working on an assignment. I have sacrificed neatness for her education.
